We worked hard from 2016 to 2019 but we didn’t have anything tangible to share with you! As a subject matter and expert witness providers, we help the Victorian Government and business claimants navigate land acquisition offers and the mediation process, for tier one infrastructure projects. Our land acquisition and relocation advice to the Department of Transport and Valuer-General Victoria allows land preparation and clearing for tunnel borers to be launched. BRM won a tender in 2016 for Melbourne Metro, and delivered over 50 relocation assessments for retail, educational and workspaces, with follow up work spanning 4-5 years. The Westgate Tunnel tender was delivered in 2018 and 2019 which required over 40 assessments to complex industrial properties in the inner and outer West of Melbourne.
But these projects often take 10 years to reach completion. So we can finally share some of the images, that our land acquisition early services played a small part in facilitating. Congratulations to Victoria on these two milestones. BRM is proud to play an early role in these city-shaping projects, and of our contribution to Melbourne’s infrastructure since 2010.
