Our recent certification validates the positive impact of our existing efforts and we’re excited to be part of the Australian movement to do business a better way. B Corps are certified by a non-profit, B Lab. Companies undergo a B Impact Assessment a rigorous performance review of business practices across a range of categories. The include: 1. Environment 2. Employees 3. Customers 4. Community 5. Governance. Find out how BRM Projects measured up. For BRM Projects, the certification process gave us a set of benchmarks to see how we measure up against other socially conscious companies. It gave us insight on how we can do improve our standards. As a business, it was important for us to be accountable and transparent in how we impact our community and environment. B Corps share a unified mission to compete not only to be the best in the world, but to also be the best for the world. Globally, there are over 2,300 certified B Corps. In Australia, there are currently 184 certified B Corps. In our eyes, that’s not enough. We’d like to see more Australian businesses take responsibility and prove they’re serious about using the power of business as a force for good.
