In an industry notorious for chasing the next big project together with long turn arounds on repeat business, BRM prides itself on providing a high level of service from project inception through to post-relocation support. And we consider repeat business to be the best indicator of client satisfaction. Which is why we were excited to be re-appointed as Jeppesen’s project manager for their second Melbourne office fitout and relocation.
Jeppesen are a multinational navigational company providing charts, maps and planning solutions for the aviation, marine and rail industries, and a subsidiary of The Boeing Company. Keith Joshi, Research and Development Director was responsible for the Melbourne project and explains “I met Gab five years ago when we first fitted out and relocated and remember being impressed. So when this project rolled around...
I was only too happy to have BRM guiding us through the process all over again.”
Keith appointed BRM for project management services including the Heads of Agreement and lease negotiations, fitout design and works, budget and timeline, physical relocation and handover of the existing premises. BRM worked closely with the Jeppesen team, often reporting to overseas and national managers on progress and working in with a team of in-house and external providers.
‘As well as conference calls to overseas stake-holders, a tight budget and complicated landlord approvals, our existing 2,000sqm premises with a 20 rack server room had a pressing handover date. BRM flawlessly planned and delivered our project under budget and ahead of schedule.
We were expertly guided through every step of the process freeing us up to focus on our core business.”
Whilst we had mixed emotions about moving Jeppesen out of the previously delivered premises, receiving comments like that from the planning experts certainly makes us proud.
