You can’t miss Dallas Beeston – she’s multi-talented, determined, a passionate vortex of energy… and a redhead. So when her first office fitout was created, it had to be….red!
BRM first met Dallas on a previous project for an accounting firm, but when Dallas created Savvy and needed to setup the new premises, she returned to BRM for guidance on her boutique project.
Teaming up with Vikki Montalban from VMDesign, BRM and Vikki provided consulting advice to help Dallas to realise her vision covering layout, fitout scope, sequencing trades, finishes and general advice throughout the project.
The existing fitout was bland and claustrophobic, so Vikki cleverly worked on the boutique project, which had to be delivered on a boutique timeline and budget to match! With a strong background in residential projects, Vikki’s suggestions broke all the rules. A patchwork of red carpet tiles. Wall-papered Ikea units. Non-traditional workstation suppliers. Tenancy entry opening onto the open plan. Hi-lighting the annoyingly large central pillar with bright paint and strong signage. And the design works beautifully, with clever use of colours and space to create a vibrant yet inviting and collaborative workspace.
“BRM and VMDesign worked as a team to help us achieve this project,” says Dallas.
“I knew Gab could help and we could work together, so I brought BRM on-board from the start.
He and Vikki worked together brilliantly, and guided us through the process but stepped back to allow us to handle the trades and deliver the fitout ourselves, which we were keen to do. I wanted a “wow” factor and BRM and Vikki helped us match the upbeat fitout to how Savvy operates. We are extremely proud of our workspace, and it has helped brand the company and provide the platform for our next business stage.”
BRM loved guiding Savvy and help them achieve their vision, together with being able to assist projects of all sizes.
