Suzzane Hutchinson – Office Manager, HR Policy, Marketing & Support, Biarri Network BRM was tasked with updating the workspace at Biarri Network in a way that reflected the young and innovative company culture, while solving some serious space issues. Office Manager, Suzzane Hutchinson offers us a quick glimpse into what the new space is all about. Tell us about some of the workplace needs that are unique to Biarri Networks
Our maths and software professionals need space to spontaneously collaborate as well as work intensely alone without interruption. I don't think that unique to us, but our constrained office area was negatively impacting both these essential needs. How did BRM Projects help you achieve these needs? BRM came up with innovative ways to fit new areas for collaboration as well as private one-person spaces into the limited office we have. They made these spaces fun, inviting and branded to Biarri. What were some of the challenges Biarri faced going into the project? A tight budget and limited space. What elements in the workplace are really working for you? Everyone loves the egg chairs when needing some private thinking space. The extra meeting rooms are designed well to what space is available and used constantly for impromptu gathering - this couldn't happen before without interrupting others. How do you see Biarri moving into the future as a workplace? I don't see much changing for quite a while, the space suits us very well. BRM placed seeds of ideas of exciting exterior branding which we re-engaged them to take a step further. I am looking forward to finalising that project when the time is right.
